Myoban Specialty- Hell-steams
Spots with high-temperature hot springs and steam have been called “hell” in Beppu, so on-site steaming pots have been called “hell stoves” since ancient times. “Hell Steaming” is a cooking method that adopts hot spring steam to concentrate the flavor of ingredients and create fluffy, tender dishes. The steam is rich in sulfur and other minerals, so unique flavors are imparted to the food during the cooking process. This is the power of nature. In recent years, nutrition research has suggested that hell-steaming helps delay age-related conditions. The table is set. The menu is ready. Be fueled!

ADD-ONDangojiru- Oita dumpling soup
Dumpling soup is a local specialty in Oita. It’s a simple soup made by simmering chewy wheat-flour dumplings and plenty of vegetables in a miso broth. The umami of the broth soaks into the dumplings, and together with the vegetables' sweetness, the soup tastes subtly refreshing. Warm your stomach here- a touch of Oita awaits.
